Core Values

We love God and love others through the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. Love never fails!
LOVE explosion! (Graphic in progress…)
Love is the foundation of all that we do.

1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails.

…the Bible to be the inspired, infalible and authoritative written Word of God.  (2 Peter 1:19-21, 2 Tim 3:16)

…there is one God, eternally existent in three persons:  God the Father, God the Son, And God the Holy Spirit. (Deu 6:4, Heb 1:8, Act 5:3-4)

…that we have no righteousness of our own and are saved by grace alone.      (Eph 2:8)

…that upon sincere repentance, and a whole-hearted acceptance of Christ, we are justified by faith and have favor with God. (1 John 1:9)

…that baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward work (Mat 28:19).  We believe in the commemoration of the Lord’s Supper/Communion by the symbolic use of the bread and the fruit of the vine.

(1 Cor 11:24,25)

…that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for salvation.    (John 3:3-8, Eph 2:8-10)

Unity of the body of Christ

Eph 4:3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all…11It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ…16From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Wonderwomen believe it is essential to unify the body of Christ. All believers are welcomed and encouraged to be all they can be for Christ. We desire to work with every woman to propel her into her destiny whatever that may be. She is to excel where God has placed her in order to advance the Kingdom of God. This is done first through our love for our Lord Jesus Christ and secondly, as we love one another.

All parts of the body are equally important

1 Cor 12: 12The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. 24b…But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.

Rom 12: 3For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. 4For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, 5so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. 6 Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly

Eph 4: 11And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, 12for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; 13until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. 14As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; 15but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, 16from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

Wonderwomen Ministries sees the importance of every believer functioning in their “gifts” in the body of Christ. It is the goal of Wonderwomen Ministries that every woman rises up in a boldness and confidence in Christ to reach our world that so desperately needs God’s love. Additionally, that she would function in her “gifts” to their fullest in order to advance the Kingdom of God. It is on that basis that we encourage women to minister to others as the Lord leads them. For our model is Jesus who said in John 5:19 “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. 20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel.”

Our Mission

The Wonderwomen Ministries’ mission is to be Proverbs Thirty-One “derWomen” in today’s world. Hence the name, “Wonderwomen Ministries.” Wonderwomen are women full of God’s Holy Spirit whose goal is to walk in unity, encourage, teach, and train other women to know God in a personal way. Through their love for God and each other, Wonderwomen live their lives transferring the anointing, power and wisdom from God to others. They not only embrace the destiny that God has for their lives, but run in that destiny to make a difference for this generation and generations to come. Wonderwomen are “women empowering women.”

How we function

  1. Making disciples Matt 28:18Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
  2. Women empowering women Titus 2:3Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, 4so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.
  3. Equipping the saints for the work of the ministry (Eph 4:11-16, see above)

As the saints are better equipped, more disciples are made.

  1. Love Matt 22:36″Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37And He said to him, ” ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ 38″This is the great and foremost commandment. 39″The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ 40″On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”
    • Cor 13:  2If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. Meeting in homes on a regular basis, sharing a meal, fellowshipping, worshipping the Lord, studying the Bible and ministering by the Holy Spirit

Acts 2:46Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

1 Cor 14: When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, and has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.

Empowerment

By Janice Tice

There was a long season when it was very difficult for me to progress with the vision of WonderWomen Ministries. Being a people person and a third born child has given me the personality of being easily tossed about by what others say and think. But, being a first born female has instilled in me the tenacity to overcome my surroundings and the leadership to help others overcome theirs.

I told God that even with all the huge disappointments that had occurred relating to the ministry, that I was going to persevere in what He had called me to do. A short while after that, I stumbled upon a DVD series a friend had given to me. God has used it to help clear out some of the cobwebs that have been clouding my vision for what He has called me to do in this ministry. As I determined to go forward, He rewarded me with a wonderful gift. This gift was a long awaited answer to prayer. I have prayed for about four or five years for help to establish WonderWomen Ministries as a nonprofit corporation. In about ten minutes with a new acquaintance, he printed out all the documents WonderWomen Ministries needed to file with the state of Nevada. And he didn’t charge me a dime! It was his goal to help others achieve their visions. This is true empowerment.

In this one act of kindness, his goal was achieved and so was ours. Now, we want to help you achieve the vision God has given you. We are “women empowering women!” Tell us how can we empower you?
