In May 2002, Janice Tice began inviting women into her Las Vegas home for breakfast, Bible study and friendship-building. It soon became clear that the women longed for a close-knit atmosphere filled with mentors and friends who loved Jesus. In that atmosphere, women could be equipped to reach their specific destinies for God. This was the beginning of what is now known as WonderWomen Ministries.
Today the vision for WonderWomen Ministries has grown into a desire to see women all over the world find their freedom in Christ Jesus. Each woman is valued as being just as important as any other. This enables each woman to have an impact on herself, family, friends, community, nation and world. As she develops her relationship with the Father and activates her destiny through the power of the Holy Spirit, she is empowered, others are empowered, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ’s Kingdom is advanced.
God is rapidly expanding the ministry through this love explosion and empowerment. WonderWomen home gatherings are filled with prayer, praise, worship, teaching, food, fellowship and fun. We are “women empowering women” who encourage every believer to see and do their part in ministry through God’s love and Holy Spirit initiatives.
We are developing community, harvest and friendships as we gather from house to house.
We encourage every believer to do their part in ministry as we embrace our destinies. By exercising the Holy Spirit’s power as Heaven invades Earth, we transform lives, neighborhoods and cultures. We fight injustice everywhere through the love of Jesus Christ.
