Proverbs 31:10
An excellent wife (woman), who can find?
For her worth is far above jewels.

(Worth is what someone is willing to pay for something.)

What is your worth? I’ll tell you. Your life is worth the death of God’s only Son (John 3:16). Is that a high enough price? Jesus laid down His very life so you could live in His presence. Nothing stopped Him from giving everything up for a relationship with you. You are priceless and God loves you.

What can cancel or change our worth? Can the enemy’s lies or attacks change the value of our lives for God? Can we change our worth to God? Jesus Christ already paid the price, His very life. Our value will not change even if we say we are not of worth or others say we are not of worth. A diamond is worth the same in the trash can or displayed on your finger. Once paid for, the value of that diamond does not change. No matter what is done with the diamond after payment, the worth or value remains the same. It is a done deal. It is finished. The debt has been paid. Apply this analogy to our lives. Christ paid His life for us. Is there a higher price He could pay for us? No. This means we are priceless. If we say we are not worth it, does that change the price that Christ already paid? No. If others put us down, judge our actions, verbally place us in the trash can, does that change the price that Christ paid for us? No.

Romans 8:33-35 Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

One died for all-Christ could pay no more. This is the price that was paid for us. This is our value to God. This is how precious we are to Him. Once we can understand our worth to God, we can cast off unworthiness, fear and doubt and fill our minds and hearts with the power of His great love for us. We need to stop listening to the lies that have come to try and destroy our self-worth, even if they come from our own opinion of our self. We need to align our hearts, minds and actions with our price tag. Our worth is far above jewels. We are priceless!

Romans 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

You are priceless!
